Bespoke & Club Leotard FAQ

Why choose a bespoke custom made leotard?

Have you ever turned up to an event and found that there is someone else
wearing the same outfit as you? Well that can happen at a gymnastics
competitions too! There is a certain disappointment that occurs when you have the same design as someone else,  just in a different colour way.

Choosing to have a bespoke leotard made ensures there is no risk of that ever happening to you!

Can you copy a design I have seen?

Unfortunately we can not create an exact copy of another companies leotard.  

However we can create a bespoke design that has similar elements from a leotard that you like and combining  them with other elements to create something unique to you.

How much will it cost?

There are a number of variables that influence the cost of a bespoke leotard.

Design elements, Fabrics (Lycra, Mystique, Mesh, Sub-laminated ect) Rhinestones (Grades range: Standard Premium, Czech and Swarovski Crystals). Sleeve length and Number of Leotards ordered.

A basic bulk order leotard with standard rhinestones is approx $245 and bespoke single leo orders start at $289. While a more intricate design with Swarovski crystals will cost upwards of $600.

We will provide a detailed quote once we have finalised your design.

Our custom design sample fee for Clubs is base cost of leotard + $50NZD

A 50% non refundable deposit is required for any Custom or Club leotard order, payable when order is placed and remainder due before leotard is shipped.

Can I order a sample?

Yes you can. The cost for ordering a sample is 'Base cost of leotard + $50' per design.

How long will it take to receive my leotard?

There is approximately a 8 week lead time for your leotard to be
manufactured.

Once your design is finalised and payment received please allow 8 weeks for your sample leotard and an additional 8 weeks for the manufacturing of your club or team bulk order.

Please ensure you allocate sufficient time for production and delivery.

Will someone else have the same design as me?

Your leotard will be exclusive to you in the competition season it was
purchased. However the design may be offered to other customers after the current competition season.

Momentum Activewear Ltd retains the ownership and rights of the design.

What is the difference between rhinestone grades?

We use three different grades of rhinestones on our leotards; Premium Standard, Czech and Swarovski.

The difference between the grades is the number of facets on the stones - the higher the grade the higher the number of facets.  Facets reflect the light and produce sparkle.  Therefore, the higher the grade of rhinestone you choose the more sparkle your leotard will have.

Do you have minimum Club order quantities?

There is no minimum leotard quantity.

What size should I buy?

If you’re not quite sure which size is right for you, refer to our size guides. They’re located underneath the available sizes for each of our products.

Can I cancel my order?

We completely get it, we change our minds too!
Please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to accomodate you - However, if your order has already been dispatched or is a custom order then we are unable to cancel your order once it is processed.

Shipping, Returns & Exchanges

We use all major carriers, and local courier partners. You’ll be asked to select a delivery method during checkout.

The majority of our parcels are dispatched via NZ Post.

What is the shipping policy?

Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that our fulfillment team has received your order. Once your order is fulfilled, you will receive an email notification with your tracking information. Shipping fees are non-refundable in the case of returns.

Do you ship overseas?

Yes, we ship all over the world. Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout.
